Dr. Alfredo Raglio is a music therapist and researcher that has received an academic musical education but also has obtained a post-graduate Diploma in Music Therapy by Bristol University and a Master of Arts (equivalency) by the California University FCE.
He has then earned a PhD in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Ferrara (Department of Biomedical and Specialistic Surgical Sciences, Section of Neurological Clinic).
Dr. Raglio carryes out clinical and research activities at the Istituti Clinici Scientifici Maugeri IRCCS (Pavia), the Fondazione Istituto Ospedaliero di Sospiro (Cremona) and the Fondazione Bassano Cremonesini per Disabili Psichiche (Pontevico, Brescia).
Dr. Raglio coordinates the Master in Music Therapy at the Department of Public Health, Experimental and Forensic Medicine of the University of Pavia where he is also a Contract Professor.
He is the author of many monographs and scientific articles in the field of music therapy.
